There are many varying factors and possibilities to middle back pain and getting the right treatment may be needed to find out exactly what is causing the problem. There are so many causes it will be hard to list them all, so here are a select few;

Strained muscles, ligaments and nerves may be a common cause of middle back pain in adults and depending on how severe the injury is the pain can be severe or mild and can last anywhere up to ten days or more. It is treatable and curable and has no adverse side effects afterwards. You will usually have to have pain killers to dull the pain in your middle back for a while depending on the severity of the pain.

Sleeping in an uncomfortable position can also make you feel pain in your middle back. Having the wrong mattress is a common culprit for this. Sitting in a chair that isn’t uncomfortable will also make you feel middle back pain. The chair may be forcing you to sit in an unnatural position therefore affecting your posture and giving you middle back pain.

Wearing high heels for long periods of time can also cause you middle back pain; the heels force you unnaturally into a different standing position and you either end up hunched over or leaning back.

Middle back pain is easily treatable just be changing the things you do and the way you do them.
